What documentation do I need to apply for a First Home Withdrawal?

Once you have checked you’re eligible, you will need to the following paperwork to apply:

  1. A completed First Home Withdrawal form. You can also find this in the Generate app, under KiwiSaver, Manage, Withdrawals/First Home Withdrawal.
  2. If you are applying for a second chance withdrawal, a Confirmation of Eligibility Letter from Kainga Ora.
  3. A certified copy of your identification document.
  4. A valid proof of address.
  5. A signed copy of your Sale and Purchase Agreement.
  6. A completed Statutory Declaration (this is a section of the withdrawal form) signed full in front of an approved person. Refer to page 4 of the application form for a list of approved persons.
  7. A Solicitor’s or Conveyancing Practitioner's Letter, completed by them. (This letter is also a section of the withdrawal form.)
