Once you turn 65, you can access your KiwiSaver savings - fully, partially, or through regular payments. 

How to Apply 

1. Download and complete the Generate KiwiSaver Retirement Withdrawal Form  

2. Include: 

• A certified copy of your ID (passport or driver licence) 

• Proof of your NZ address (e.g. recent bill or bank letter) 

• Proof of your bank account (e.g. bank statement or screenshot showing your name and account number) 

 3. Sign the Statutory Declaration in front of a Justice of the Peace, solicitor, or authorised witness. 

If you’ve already made an initial retirement withdrawal: 

Use the shorter Subsequent Retirement Withdrawal Form – no Statutory Declaration needed.  

Allow at least 10 business days for processing for an initial retirement withdrawal and 5 days for a subsequent retirement.
