We've recently updated some of our offer documents related to the Generate KiwiSaver Scheme and Generate Unit Trust (Managed Funds) Scheme. See details of the changes below and download the latest documents.
Generate KiwiSaver Scheme: Product Disclosure Statement.
Changes include:
- We’ve changed the name of the Defensive Fund to the CashPlus Fund
- Reduced fees for the CashPlus (Defensive) Fund
- The target investment mix for the CashPlus Fund has changed from 25% cash and 75% fixed income (bonds) to 100% cash and cash equivalents.
- The risk indicator for the CashPlus Fund is 1; the Defensive Fund used to be 3.
This change doesn’t significantly impact investors, as the fund’s purpose remains the same; it’s a lower-risk option for short-term investors seeking capital preservation or where certainty of the amount available to be withdrawn is important.
- Generate KiwiSaver Focused Growth Fund fee has reduced from 1.31% p.a. to 1.27% p.a.
- Generate KiwiSaver Growth Fund fee has reduced from 1.28% p.a. to 1.25% p.a

We’ve also introduced our new funds:
- Generate KiwiSaver Thematic Fund
- Generate KiwiSaver Australasian Fund
- Generate KiwiSaver Global Fund
- The risk indicator for the Generate KiwiSaver Growth Fund has reduced from 5 to 4.

Generate KiwiSaver Scheme: Statement of Investment Policy (SIPO)
Changes include:
- Updates to fund benchmarks to better reflect our investment portfolios, aligning them with the new asset allocations.
- The three new Generate KiwiSaver Funds have been added
- The Generate KiwiSaver Defensive Fund has been renamed to the Generate KiwiSaver CashPlus Fund
- Property and Infrastructure and Australasian Equities has been renamed to: Australasian Equities and Property

Generate Unit Trust (Managed Funds) Scheme: Product Disclosure Statement
Changes include:
The introduction of our new Managed Funds:
- Generate Global Managed Fund
- Generate Fixed interest Managed Fund
- Generate CashPlus Managed Fund
Fee reductions:
- Generate Thematic and Australasian Managed Fund have both reduced from 1.29% to 1.27% p.a.
- Generate Focused Growth Managed Fund has reduced from 1.41% p.a. to 1.36% p.a.
- Generate Balanced Managed Fund has reduced from 1.35% p.a. to 1.32% p.a.
- Generate Conservative Managed Fund has reduced from 1.19% p.a. to 1.17% p.a.

- The risk indicator for the Generate Thematic Managed Fund has decreased from 6 to 5.
