Generate KiwiSaver Scheme Account Review Promotion 


Terms and Conditions 


Promoter  means Generate Investment Holdings Limited of Level 9, Jarden House, 21 Queen Street, Auckland 1010, New Zealand (the Promoter). 

Members mean current members of the Generate KiwiSaver Scheme (the Scheme) as at 1 April 2026 who are over 18 years old.  

Third Party Adviser means an external financial adviser acting under a third-party Financial Advice Provider approved by the Promoter for the purposes of this Promotion. 


1. Promotion period 

  1. The KiwiSaver Account Review Promotion (Promotion) commences at 00:01 on 1 April 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 30 April 2027 (Promotion Period).

  2. Members must complete an eligible advice review meeting by 30 April 2027 to qualify for entry. 

  3. The $5,000 prize draw will be conducted on Monday 17 May 2027. 

2. Eligibility 

  1. To be eligible, a person must be a Member on the date of their eligible advice meeting. 

  2. Members must be clients of a Third Party Adviser. Members who are clients of a Generate Nominated Representative or a Generate in-house adviser or who have no allocated adviser are not eligible for this promotion. 

  3. Employees or contractors of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible for this promotion. 

  4. Participation in AdviserPlus is not required to enter the Promotion. 

  5. Entry into the Promotion is by invitation (an email or other contact inviting the Member to have a KiwiSaver review meeting or to undertake an Account Review). Invitations may be issued to selected members based on internal criteria determined by the Promoter. 

  6. Entry into the Promotion is free and there is no additional cost to enter beyond participating in a KiwiSaver account review. 

3. How to enter 

  1. To receive an entry into the Promotion, a Member must during the Promotion Period: 
    a. Complete a KiwiSaver account review meeting with an  Adviser (including an AdviserPlus review meeting) ”Review Meeting”, or 

b. Complete a self-service KiwiSaver account review using Generate's KiwiSaver Digital Advice tool found at www.generatewealth.co.nz/kiwisaver-advice/, using the button ‘Get digital advice’ “Account Review”. 

2. A Review Meeting covers, at minimum, the member’s current fund selection and confirms their awareness of their current contribution rate, and may include other information about the member's account. This can be in person, over the phone or in a virtual meeting.  

3. To be eligible Review Meetings or Account Reviews must be completed and recorded by 30 April 2027. 

4. A Member is limited to one entry  (a completed Review Meeting or Account Review) during the Promotion Period unless otherwise determined by the Promoter. 

5. The Review Meeting or Account Review will be provided by a Third-Party Adviser in accordance with the third-party Financial Advice Provider’s obligations  (as approved by the Promoter). 

6.  Participation in the Promotion does not affect the advice provided. There is no requirement to make any changes to a Member’s KiwiSaver account or follow any advice provided to enter the Promotion. 


4. Third Party Adviser process and validation of entries 

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries, including by: 
    a. Checking records of advice documentation issued to Members; and 
    b. Conducting verification checks with third-party administrators for Members not captured within the Promoter’s internal systems. 

  2. Third Party Advisers are responsible for ensuring that: 
    a. Entries are accurately submitted and date of Review Meetings recorded against Member’s name; 
    b. All information provided is true and correct; and 
    c. Meetings offered and completed are properly recorded to enable entry into the prize draw. 

  3. The Promoter accepts no liability for entries not submitted or submitted incorrectly or falsely.  

5. Monthly Prezzy Card draws 

  1. During the Promotion Period, two (2) winners per month will each receive a $100 Prezzy Card. 

  2. Monthly draws will be conducted from all valid entries received in the relevant month until the last monthly draw (held by 17 May 2027).  For example, for valid entries received during April 2026, the monthly draw would take place between 1-17 May 2026.

  3. Winners will be contacted by Generate using the details held on file. It is the responsibility of the Third Party Adviser to ensure these are correct. If the Member uses the KiwiSaver Digital Advice tool (self-service) to complete a KiwiSaver account review and does not meet with a Third Party Adviser, then it is the member's responsibility to ensure their contact details are correct. 

  4. Prezzy Cards are subject to the issuer’s terms and conditions and are not redeemable for cash. 

  5. Any winners of the $100 Prezzy card are still eligible for the $5000 prize draw. 

6. $5,000 prize draw 

  1. All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be entered into the $5,000 prize draw. 

  2. The prize draw will take place on Monday 17 May, 2027. 

  3. One (1) winner will receive vouchers or gift cards to the value of $5000 NZD, from the choice of our Prize Partners (House of Travel, Ticketek, Ticketmaster, New World, Woolworths, Pak n Save, The Warehouse, Torpedo7, Briscoes, Noel Leeming, Michael Hill or Prezzy Card).

  4. The prize is not transferable and is not redeemable for cash. 

  5. If a winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period (as determined by the Promoter), the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize. 

7. Drawing of prizes 

1. In relation to any aspect of the promotion the Promoter’s decision is final and binding on every person who enters, and no correspondence will be entered into.  

2. The winners will be selected randomly by the Promoter.  

3. The prizes are being provided by Generate Investment Management Ltd and not the Generate KiwiSaver Scheme nor Public Trust. 


8. General conditions 

  1. Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. 

  2. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, put on hold, or cancel the Promotion at any time at its sole discretion, if required due to circumstances outside its reasonable control. 

  3. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding. 

  4. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the identity and eligibility of any entrant. 

  5. All entrants confirm that the persons referred have consented to providing their personal information to Generate Investment Holdings Limited and their agents and advisers.  

  6. Personal information will be collected and held by the Promoter in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the Promoter’s Privacy Statement. 

9. Liability 

  1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its related entities shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising directly or indirectly in connection with the Promotion or any prize. 

  2. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable legislation. 

10. AdviserPlus invitations 

  1. Invitations issued through the AdviserPlus system may include reference to this Promotion. 

  2. Third Party Advisers who have opted out of AdviserPlus may provide members with a link to these Terms and Conditions in connection with invitations to complete an advice review.
