To transfer your funds to an Australian Super provider, complete our Trans-Tasman Transfer Form  

You may be eligible if you: 

• Have left New Zealand to live permanently in Australia (you must have physically departed NZ).  

• Have opened a complying Australian superannuation fund that accepts KiwiSaver transfers and can provide a compliance letter.  

• Understand that this is a transfer only (no cash withdrawal); KiwiSaver savings are transferred to your Australian super if within any applicable maximum transfer amount.  

What you’ll need to include: 

• Your completed Generate Trans-Tasman Transfer Form (including your AU super details).  

• Compliance letter from your Australian super confirming it accepts KiwiSaver transfers and listing its account/ABN details.  

• Certified ID, evidence you’ve departed NZ, and proof of your Australian residential address. 

Allow at least 15 business days for processing.
