How to set-up a two-factor authentication from the app?
Adding two-factor authentication (2FA) helps protect your account by requiring both your password and a second form of verification—like a code sent to your phone—when you log in.
How to enable 2FA
1. Log in to the Generate App.
2. Tap the circle with your initials in the top right corner.
3. Select My Profile.
4. Go to the Security tab (labelled Two-step authentication in the app).
5. Choose your preferred verification method:
a. Text message (SMS): Confirm your phone number.
b. Authenticator app: Scan the QR code or enter the setup key provided.
6. Enter the 6-digit code from your chosen method to confirm activation.
Tip: Store your backup codes somewhere safe in case you lose access to your phone or authenticator app.
