How can I make voluntary contributions to my KiwiSaver account?
To make a KiwiSaver deposit, you can add money to your KiwiSaver account in two ways:
• Online banking
• Direct debit
Option 1: Online banking
The easiest way to make a KiwiSaver contribution is through your online banking.
You can choose to make either:
• a one-off payment, or
• an automatic regular payment.
Generate KiwiSaver Scheme is a saved payee with most major banks.
If you don’t see us listed, you can enter our details manually:
Account name: Generate KiwiSaver Scheme
Account number: 12-3244-0004191-00
To make sure your payment is correctly allocated, please include these details:
• Particulars: Your full name
• Code: Leave blank
• Reference: Your member number
Payments with missing or incorrect details may be delayed or returned.
Option 2: Direct debit
You can also contribute through a Direct Debit.
• Existing members can set this up by logging into their Generate online account.
• Or, download the Direct Debit form.
If you only need to update an existing Direct Debit, please contact us directly.

Processing times
Once your payment is made:
• It may take around 3 business days to appear in your online account.
• For larger deposits, we may need to confirm the source of funds under the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009.
o You might be asked to complete a lump sum form and provide supporting documents.
After we’ve received and reviewed all required documents, your contribution will be invested.
