How can I make a Managed Fund deposit?

You can add money to your Managed Fund in two ways: 

• Online banking 

• Direct debit 

 

Option 1: Online banking 

The easiest way to invest is through your online banking. You can choose to make either: 

• a one-off payment, or 

• an automatic regular payment. 

Generate Managed Funds is already set up as a saved payee with most major banks. 

If you don’t see us listed, you can enter our details manually: 

Account name: Generate Managed Funds 

Account number: 12-3244-0018593-000 

To make sure your payment goes to the right account, please include the following in the payment reference fields: 

 

• Particulars: Your name (or entity name) 

• Code: Leave blank if you’re using your default investment strategy 

o If you want to invest in a specific fund, enter one of these codes instead: 

 CASHPLUS 

 FIXEDINT 

 CONSERVATIVE 

 BALANCED 

 FOCUSEDGROW 

 AUSTRALASIAN 

 GLOBAL 

 THEMATIC 

• Reference: Your GMF number 

Payments with missing or incorrect references may be returned or delayed until we can confirm payment 

 

Option 2: Direct debit 

You can also invest through a Direct Debit. 

• Existing members can set this up by logging into their Generate online account. 

• Or, download the Direct Debit form  

If you only need to update an existing Direct Debit, please contact us directly. 

 

Processing times 

Once your payment is made: 

• It may take around 3 business days to appear in your online account. 

• For larger deposits, we may contact you to confirm the source of funds, as required by the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009. 

o You might be asked to complete a lump sum form and provide supporting documents. 

 

After we receive and review all required documents, your funds will be invested according to your chosen strategy.
