Can I transfer my KiwiSaver savings back to Australia?

Yes. If you permanently move to Australia, you can transfer your KiwiSaver savings into an Australian complying Super fund under the same Trans-Tasman Retirement Savings Portability rules. You won’t be able to withdraw the funds in cash unless you meet the normal retirement withdrawal criteria.
