New Salvation Army houses create communities of hope

Last week the Generate team attended the openings of two newly built Salvation Army social housing developments in Auckland. One in Flatbush where Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern spoke and the other in Westgate, where Housing Minister Megan Woods spoke. These developments have a unique whānau-centred design and Generate is proud to have been the cornerstone investor in the bonds that financed the building of these communities and the first KiwiSaver provider to invest in social housing. Generate hires Fixed Income specialist from JP Morgan

KiwiSaver topped $70 billion at end of September, Morningstar says

KiwiSaver funds broke the $70 ​billion mark at the end of September, fund researcher Morningstar says. In its September quarter review of the sector, Morningstar says the KiwiSaver funds it tracks held a combined $70.9b​ of shares, bonds, property and cash at the end of the month. That was up from $63.1b​ at the end of December.
