We’re proud to announce we’ve been shortlisted as a regional finalist in two categories at the 2degrees Auckland Business Awards:
- People’s Choice Award – thanks to the incredible support and votes from our members and community.
- Excellence in Community Contribution – for our Mid-Winter Dip campaign with the Live Ocean Foundation, which saw hundreds of brave Kiwis plunge into icy waters and help raise $75,000 to protect and restore the health of New Zealand’s ocean spaces.

We’re a longstanding partner of Live Ocean, supporting its mission to protect and restore the health of New Zealand’s ocean. The 2025 Mid-Winter Dip marked the sixth time Generate has taken part in the initiative, and the first year we’ve invited our members to get involved through a donation promotion. The response was overwhelming, with hundreds of New Zealanders braving the icy waters and helping raise $75,000 to support Live Ocean’s vital work and highlight the importance of safeguarding our ocean for future generations.
These latest accolades reflect the strong long-term performance that underpins our growth and the trust our members place in us.
In the most recent Morningstar KiwiSaver Survey (to 30 June 2025), all three of our original KiwiSaver funds ranked in the top three of their respective categories for 10-year returns*:
- Generate KiwiSaver Scheme Moderate Fund – 1st of 14 funds (5.7% p.a.)*
- Generate KiwiSaver Scheme Growth Fund – 2nd of 14 funds (8.5% p.a.)*
- Generate KiwiSaver Scheme Focused Growth Fund – 3rd of 8 funds (9.2% p.a.)*

We’ve been awarded the prestigious Consumer NZ People's Choice Award for KiwiSaver for the past four years and named a Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand for the past three.
