We’re thrilled to share that the Generate KiwiSaver team has won Gold in the 2022 Reader’s Digest Quality Service Awards, in the Superannuation category.

We pride ourselves on our ability to provide the best KiwiSaver service that we can, so our members feel empowered to make smart decisions with their KiwiSaver funds.

“Service comes down to communication – our members like that we actually take the time to meet with them and understand their goals.” says Nicola Hines, Head of our KiwiSaver Adviser team.

While recent Covid alert levels have prevented much of our team from in-person meetings, they’ve been busy on the phone and using video chat to stay in touch with members and complete investment check-ups using our innovative digital tools.

Our new Advice Online tool helps identify the right KiwiSaver fund type based on someone’s lifestyle and risk appetite, and our easy-to-use online tools including our KiwiSaver Calculator and KiwiSaver Fund Finder remain popular.

“For many kiwis, their KiwiSaver investment is now their second biggest asset, so it’s important they understand how it works – a few simple changes now can make a big difference at retirement or for their first home” said Henry Tongue, CEO.

“For the average KiwiSaver member who has 30 years until age 65, getting into a growth fund could deliver them hundreds of thousands of dollars more than those in a conservative fund” he added.

This Gold Award validates the hard work our entire team has put in over the past year to keep our members satisfied. It’s no wonder we’re one of New Zealand’s fastest-growing KiwiSaver providers (according to a recent Investment News, report available here).

We want to thank all our valued members for their support and loyalty.

About the award:

The Reader’s Digest Quality Service Awards (QSA) is an independent gauge of how customer service is fairing in New Zealand and recognises businesses that delivered customer excellence over the previous 12 months. Consumers vote to determine which brands from different categories provided the highest level of customer service.

Running since 2015, the survey identifies the most satisfied customers across 35 different categories, from pet insurance to pizzas and from Supermarkets to Superannuation. The prestigious Quality Service Award recognises companies that truly understand consumers’ needs. For more on the awards click here.
