Generate Investment Specialist Greg Smith was back on Newstalk ZB with Mike Hosking this morning, running through a busy slate of overnight results, including a knockout release from General Motors, which is now pivoting away from electric vehicles.
Boeing also delivered its strongest quarter in years, shifting from burning cash to generating it in large volumes, with customers ordering planes in droves, partly to improve their standing with the White House.
Also up for discussion was the “mother of all deals” between India and Europe. Twenty years in the making, the agreement covers around a quarter of the world’s population, and looks to have been well worth the wait.
