This is pushing up headline card spending, but means households are pulling back spend on discretionary items. He also reviews Netflix which delivered strong results, but the shares fell as guidance disappointed and founder Reed Hastings (the man who started it all in 1997 after a $40 Apollo 13 late fee) stepped down from the board.
