We’re thrilled to announce we’ve chosen the winners of our Spirit of Adventure competition for 2025!
After receiving over 600 inspiring nominations from across the country, our team faced the incredibly tough task of selecting just four young Kiwis to embark on the voyage of a lifetime. The calibre of entries was outstanding, and we were truly impressed by the passion, promise, and potential shown by so many of the nominees.
Our four deserving winners hail from Bay of Plenty, Wellington, Waikato, and Auckland, and they’ll soon be setting sail on the Spirit of Adventure’s renowned 10-Day Development Voyage. These voyages are more than just a trip at sea - they’re a life-changing experience designed to build leadership, resilience, confidence and teamwork through a mix of challenges, learning, and personal growth.
Thanks to our charity partner, the Spirit of Adventure Trust, each of these young Kiwis will join 35 other participants from diverse backgrounds for 10 days of discovery, courage, and connection. They'll navigate more than just the open water - they’ll master independence, new friendships, and what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves.
This is the second year we’ve run this competition, and we continue to be inspired by the young people in our communities, and the whanau, friends, teachers, and mentors who believe in them and took the time to nominate them.
