TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please note that all use of the Generate mobile App and web based App (‘Generate App’) is governed by these terms and conditions. When using the Generate App you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Generate may amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice. By continuing to use the Generate App, you'll be deemed to have accepted the latest version of these terms.

Generate Investment Management Limited, and its related companies (Generate) do not accept responsibility for loss or damage of any kind arising directly or indirectly from:

  • any error or omission of information available in the Generate App, or
  • access to, use of, or reliance on any prices and information available from the Generate App, or accessed through the App.

You agree that Generate will not be liable for any loss or damage you may suffer which is caused as a result of our provision or your use of the App or through a lack of continuity, accessibility, or reliability of the App.

The performance of the investments contained or referred to in the Generate App are not guaranteed by anyone and past performance is not indicative of future performance.

The content of the Generate App may contain general information about our products and services. This information is not intended as financial advice and does not constitute an offer or inducement to subscribe for any investment product or enter into a legally binding contract.

Description of Service

The Generate App provides clients with access to their account information and delivery of reports and communications relating to their account. Our products and services have their own terms, conditions and disclosures which are available for viewing on www.generatekiwisaver.co.nz

Access and Use of the Generate App

Using the Generate App and its related services requires an email address and password. The confidentiality of your email, password and account itself are your responsibility. We will consider any communications or activities that occur using your password to be authorised by you and are your responsibility. You agree to notify Generate immediately of any unauthorised use of your account(s) or any other breach of security. You must safeguard your password at all times. This means you must:

  • Not leave your computer or mobile device unattended when signed in to the Generate App;
  • Be careful to avoid being observed when entering your password;
  • Not provide your password to anyone;
  • Ensure any copies of your password are kept securely;
  • Notify us immediately if your password is known, or you suspect it is known, by another person by phoning us on 0800 855 322.

Your use of the Generate App may be interrupted, varied, suspended or cancelled by us at any time without notice, or for reasons beyond our control.

In using the Generate app you agree not to use it for any illegal, fraudulent, or unintended purposes.

Accuracy of Information

Whilst Generate endeavours to ensure the data and information contained in the Generate App is correct and accurate Generate makes no representation or warranty that the data and information is free from errors or omission or that it is suitable for the purpose you intend to use it for. The data and information contained in any report reflects a value at a certain point in time and these the values may change due to changes in prices and exchange rates.

Instructions received via the Generate App will usually be processed on a best endeavours basis, timing cannot be guaranteed and Generate is not responsible for any loss suffered as a result.

Personal Information

Generate respects your privacy and has adheres to a Privacy Policy which explains how Generate collects, stores, protects and uses your personal information. The Generate App pages, information, images, screens, logos and brands on the App are the property of Generate, who hold copyright of it. The information may not be copied or revised without the written consent of Generate.

Security

We employ a high level of security monitoring and software. We also strongly recommend that you safeguard your online personal and product information by ensuring your computer or device has up-to-date security software and operating system updates. The Generate App is the official website and only version of the app and it is only distributed via the official Apple App Store and Google Play store marketplaces. The Generate app is only available for official iOS and Android versions (some older versions may not be supported). The Generate app will not permit use on jailbroken devices.
