Christmas cheer for the Auckland City Mission

At Generate, we have a vision where all kiwis feel empowered about their KiwiSaver choices, so they can save smarter and enjoy the retirement lifestyle they want.

However, we know that for many kiwis the journey to retirement isn’t always easy, and times like Christmas can put a lot of additional stress on many families.

So we’re chipping in this Christmas and have donated $10,000 to the Auckland City Mission’s Christmas appeal. Auckland has had an especially rough second half of 2021, and we hope this donation helps bring joy to some families who are doing it tough.

We’ve been proud supporters of the Auckland City Mission for some time now; a couple of years ago we donated to their new HomeGround complex, a development with 80 permanent apartment homes for people sleeping rough or on the social housing register with 24/7 support services, a shared rooftop garden and a residents’ lounge.
